Budget 2017 – Health

Budget 2017 only allocated an additional spend of €266m to an over burdened, under resourced and under stretched health system. By contrast we in Sinn Fein allocated €462m focusing on dealing with the trolley crisis, waiting lists, maternity services, disability services and mental health. Public money should be used for public services and we advocated for a strong public health system Our alternative budget can be found at www.sinnfein.ie/budget2017
